Show Ring Preparation is where we help turn your good Boxer into a confident show dog and you into a handler who enjoys being out there. We walk you through ring routines step by step-entering, gaiting, stacking, exams, and group movement-so nothing feels mysterious on show day.
You will practice handling skills like using bait effectively, keeping your dog straight on the stack, and presenting teeth and bite calmly. We also cover grooming basics for the short Boxer coat, nail and whisker care, and what needs to be done before you ever get to the grounds.
Along the way, we explain what AKC judges are usually looking for and how to read a judging program, set up your space, and manage nerves. Newcomers and seasoned exhibitors are both welcome; our aim is teamwork, ring confidence, and a dog that enjoys the experience as much as you do.
